After a brief introduction and social chitchat, Tony-(the boss) first explained nicely in detail the process and the material to be used in replacing the concrete finlock gutter on a demonstration model he brought with him then the cost and time-frame to complete the work. We soon agreed for him to go ahead and do the necessary. His team and some material showed up on time. The workers were very courteous, friendly, cooperative and attentive to my likes and dislikes. They started the work without any hesitation and finished the job promptly, professionally and diligently in shortest possible time and left the place clean and tidy. “Top quality workmanship, great service (Finlock gutter replacement) Customer service second to none - responded to my inquiry same day with a firm quote. Fully explained the work they would do and how they would do it. A couple of days before the job was due to be done, Tony got in touch to confirm details and arrange delivery of materials. Materials were delivered as expected along with a mini-skip for waste. The lads who did the work turned up on time, were polite, friendly and did a great job. They cleared up at the end of the day and left the area clean and tidy. Quality of the workmanship is superb and guaranteed for 10 years. “TLG do a very nice job using virtually maintenance free extruded aluminium guttering, and use patented parts to join our new aluminium gutter to your neighbours’ finlock, seamlessly, if your bungalow is not detached. TLG did fine for me, but you get what you pay for: aluminium gutters cost more than plastic, and TLG neatly join new gutters with neighbours’ finlocks using patented parts ... so no falling out with neighbours!”

19/11/12 - MPH Dix, the Company Secretary for the Blandford Court Tenants Association (London) wrote:
"In the autumn of last year we discovered that sections of the concrete Finlock guttering on our building had commenced to breakaway and put the occupiers and visitors to the block at risk from falling masonary. We arranged for the sections that appeared to most at risk of falling to be removed and set out to find a likely solution to our problem. on searching the internet, a firm called TLG Guttering seemed to be ideal for our purposes and we arranged for them to visit the site and give us a quote...... (Other quotes) retained the concrete guttering, drilling and fixing the front sections and relining the gutters. Rather TLG sawed off the concrete guttering flush with the walls and planted PVC fascia boards and fitted aluminium guttering.....The contract was to take two weeks to finish but it was completed in two days....We would add that we have no other reason to recommend this company apart from the methods used, their speed of work and of course the price."

I was impressed with the technical specification of your guttering system and the speed and efficiency with which it was fitted. Most importantly however, as you are aware, the house is situated in a very exposed position and soon after fitting the new system it was subjected to several days of high winds and torrential rains without any signs of leaks that had been experienced previously with the old system.
